Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is set to launch in India today (June 6, 2024). The launch event will take place at 12:00 PM IST (noon), introducing the X Fold 3 Pro as the company’s first foldable device in the country. So far, Vivo has only launched foldable phones in China, including the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which was introduced in its home market back in March.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: India price, specifications, features

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in China starts at CNY 9,999 for the base model. This price translates to around Rs 1,17,000. In India, the new foldable device could start at around Rs 1 lakh. The phone could arrive in Solar White and Eclipse Black colours. It will be available to buy post-launch through Flipkart, Vivo India website, and retail outlets.

Vivo already revealed the key specifications and features of the X Fold 3 via the device’s microsite on Vivo India website and a dedicated landing page at Flipkart. The phone is being marketed as the country’s slimmest and lightest fold with 11.2 mm thickness when folded, 5.2 mm thickness when unfolded, and weighing 236 grams. The device features a Carbon Fibre hinge, which claims to last over 12 years with 100 folds a day usage.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has been confirmed to feature a 5,700 mAh dual-cell battery with support for 100 W fast wired charging and 50 W fast wireless charging. It draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and features a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup. The foldable device also comes with several Gemini AI-powered features, such as AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Screen Translation.

In China, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro comes with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device sports an 8.03-inch primary AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen.
