Raul Jimenez – Fulham

Despite joining Fulham in 2023, lots of Wolves fans would love Raul Jimenez to return.

Not only was the Mexican a Molineux favourite during his four years in the Midlands, but he is also Wolves’ all-time top Premier League goalscorer.

The end of the season will see Jimenez enter the final year of his Fulham contract, and with the much younger Rodrigo Muniz coming through under Marco Silva, the former Wolves striker could see his playing time reduced.

However, even though he will be 34 years old by the time the 2025-26 season starts, Jimenez’s 12 goals this campaign prove he is showing no signs of slowing down yet.

While he wouldn’t be a long-term option, Jimenez could certainly do a job for Wolves’ first team for a season or two.

Richarlison – Spurs

When Spurs signed Richarlison from Everton in July 2022, they hoped the Brazilian would be to them what Cunha has been to Wolves… Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case.

Richarlison has scored less than 20 goals since moving to London, and this season has proven equally challenging for the 27-year-old, with injuries disrupting his campaign.

The wide-forward, who, when fit and firing, plays in a similar position to Cunha, has managed just two Premier League starts this season.

As a result, it is unlikely Ange Postecoglou will persist with the former Everton hitman and could opt to offload him in the summer.

While Richarlison would be a risky option, there is no doubting his ability. Like Cunha, Richarlison possesses maverick-like qualities and can change games in the blink of an eye.

Liam Delap – Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town have just nine games left to save their season, but already nine points adrift, are unlikely to retain their Premier League status.

Failure to stay in the top flight could see Kieran McKenna lose some of his best players including breakthrough striker Liam Delap.

Manchester City successfully negotiated a buy-back clause, reportedly worth around £30 million, as well as a 20 per cent sell-on clause, into the 22-year-old’s transfer to Ipswich Town, but the Citizens are unlikely to activate their buy-back option due to having a wealth of attacking options already, and that will allow other clubs to try their luck.

Although other clubs, including Chelsea, will feel they’re better placed to sign Delap, Wolves would be able to offer the former Derby youth academy star a lot of regular game time, and that, to a player aiming to win his first senior England call-up, could take priority.
