
Hundreds of residents and visitors gathered on Monday morning to witness the exhibition’s launch at the airport’s arrival hall, which showcases a replica of a 6.5-metre-high (22-foot-high) double-storey set from Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In.
The installation, which showcases key scenes from the movie, has already become a popular spot for travellers to pose for selfies.
The government would also actively promote an “anywhere in Hong Kong” tourism concept to provide more in-depth, unique travel and event-based experiences, he added.
“The government will continue to develop tourism projects themed around local films to attract more tourists and promote Hong Kong’s film culture. Efforts are being made to enhance the appeal of various tourist destinations,” Lee said.
