The newest season of Disney Jr.’s popular animated TV show has officially been added to the Disney+ library. This comes nearly three years after the hit preschool show debuted its first season, which consisted of 15 episodes.
Beginning today, new episodes of Disney Jr.’s Playdate with Winnie the Pooh: Shorts Season 3 are finally available to stream on Disney+, following its broadcast debut last January. The animated musical shorts series is inspired by the beloved characters created by English author E. H. Shepard.
What do we know about Disney+’s Playdate with Winnie the Pooh: Shorts?
“The series follows Winnie the Pooh and his friends as they enjoy all kinds of playdates at their Treehouse in the Hundred Acre Wood. From flying a kite with Piglet to playing games like ‘Hide-and-Go-Seek’ with Kanga, there’s always something fun for Pooh to do with his pals. Tigger gets his bounces out and learns how to play the harmonica; Eeyore discovers he can make more colors by combining paints; and Rabbit helps Piglet see how exciting it is to try an avocado,” reads the show’s original description.
Playdate with Winnie the Pooh is executive-produced by Chris Hamilton and Elise Fachon, with Greg Chalekian serving as a producer. The show features the voices of Leon Chen as Winnie the Pooh, Gracen Newton as Tigger, Callum Vinson as Piglet, Dylan Alvarado as Eeyore, Arwen Monzon-Sanders as Kanga, Emma Zavaleta as Rabbit, and Madelyn Skyler as Bea. It features original music composed by Andy Bean, A.J. Guillet, and Bryan Teoh. It hails from Disney Branded Television.
