Coldplay’s return to India is significant, as their last performance in the country was back in 2016 as part of the Global Citizen Festival, also in Mumbai. The band, formed in 1997, has been captivating audiences worldwide with their powerful and emotional performances. Coldplay’s lineup includes frontman and lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion. Over the years, they have produced countless chart-topping hits such as “A Sky Full of Stars,” “Don’t Panic,” “Viva la Vida,” and “In My Place.” With their impressive back catalog of hit songs, the concert in Mumbai is set to be an electrifying experience for their Indian fans.

Coldplay Mumbai concert – Key things to note

  • For those planning to attend, there are a few important things to note. First, tickets will not be available for purchase at the venue itself, so fans must secure their tickets online.
  • The age limit for the concert is five years and above, with children required to be accompanied by a ticket holder who is at least 18 years old.
  • Every attendee, including children, must have a valid ticket for entry. The concert is expected to run for approximately four hours, and once a ticket is scanned, there will be no re-entry permitted into the venue.
  • This means that fans will need to stay inside the stadium for the entirety of the event once they have entered.
  • One of the exciting elements of the concert experience is the LED wristband that each attendee will receive upon entering the venue. This wristband, which is part of Coldplay’s interactive concert experience, will light up in sync with the music and add to the overall spectacle of the performance.
  • Fans won’t need to activate the wristbands themselves – they will simply put them on and enjoy the show. However, the wristbands must be returned at the exit once the concert concludes.
  • As with most large events, food and beverages will be available for purchase at the venue, though outside food will not be permitted. While the DY Patil Stadium is not air-conditioned, those who opt for the hospitality package will have access to air-conditioned pre-function areas.
  • This package also includes premium food and beverage service, an elevated viewing deck, dedicated entry lanes, restrooms, parking, and a drop-off zone.
