In the 2024 Coffee Quest, 260 participants visited all 27 locations. This included WTOL 11 Meteorologist Kaylee Bowers, who was awarded a shirt for her efforts.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Coffee Quest 419 is making a return to northwest Ohio – albeit a little earlier than last year – featuring additional locations, prizes and a brand new theme.Â
The coffee trail, organized and run by Destination Toledo, will kick off the 2025 iteration on March 15. Participants will have until June 15 to visit the 29 participating coffee shops. The theme this year is “Sip, Savor, Send: A Greeting from Along Your Quest” and is designed after a vintage postcard and stamp concept.Â
Artwork for this year’s theme was created by Alyson Krajewski, a local graphic designer, Destination Toledo said in its press release Monday. The designs will be featured on the prizes, including a sticker, keychain and T-shirt.Â

Destination Toledo is also encouraging participants to take an eco-friendly approach: a reusable Coffee Quest 419 travel mug will be available at select locations, the organization said. (After all, according to destination Toledo, there were 30,000 Coffee Quest 419 check-ins last year. If they’d all been ordered “to-go”, that would amount to just as many cups used.)
Like last year, participants can check in at locations using a mobile pass.Â

Last year’s stats
Last year’s Coffee Quest 419 saw 30,000 check-ins, according to Destination Toledo, generating $222,000 in economic activity in the region. Out of the 4,800 participants, only 260 visits all 27 locations. This included WTOL 11 Meteorologist Kaylee Bowers, who said she ordered a chai latte from each of the shops.Â
For her diligence and commitment, Bowers was rewarded with a cool T-shirt, which was printed by Jupmode. She sported it proudly on Good Day.Â
