iQOO Neo9 Pro arrives with Dimensity 9300 and 144Hz screen, Neo9 tags along

vivo’s iQOO has added two new members to its Neo smartphone lineup – iQOO Neo9 and iQOO Neo9 Pro.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 9300 SoC, runs Android 14-based OriginOS 4, and comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone also has a Q1 chip at the helm to improve the gaming experience by offering a stable frame rate. Additionally, it has a VC liquid cooling chamber of 6043mm² and a double-layer capillary power pump to help with heat dissipation for sustained performance.

The Neo9 Pro packs a 6.78″ 144Hz LTPO AMOLED screen of 2,800×1,260 pixels with 1,400 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support. iQOO says it has “wet hand control,” allowing users to operate the screen when they are wet or sweaty. The display also has a centered punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication.

Around the back, we have a dual camera setup comprising 50MP primary (with OIS) and 50MP ultrawide units. These use the same sensors the vivo X100‘s primary and ultrawide cameras use. The iQOO Neo9 Pro also has a 360º antenna design for better signal reception and connectivity.

Fueling the entire package is a 5,160 mAh battery with 120W charging support. The iQOO Neo9 Pro also comes with stereo speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The iQOO Neo9 is basically the Neo9 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and features an 8MP ultrawide camera instead of 50MP. It also has Bluetooth 5.3 instead of 5.4 and different memory configurations.
