Carney states Canada’s readiness for deeper economic integration with the US and Mexico

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Ottawa is ready to deepen trade and economic cooperation with the US and Mexico in specific economic sectors. This was reported by Bloomberg, according to UNN.

Speaking at a political conference in Toronto, Carney stated that Canada is considering options for closer integration within the North American economic space.

Like Mexico, Canada remains open to deeper integration, including “Fortress North America” options in specific sectors
