Launched in 2016, OnlyFans rose in popularity among celebrities during the pandemic and also became a hub for sex workers to monetize their content. A number of celebrities and artists – including Cardi B, Bella Thorne and Aaron Carter – have since joined the platform to provide fans with exclusive content.
