Jeff Bezos ‘looks concerned’ during vacation with Lauren Sanchez days after baby comments

Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, both appeared to have a ‘concerned’ look on their face while they were vacationing following her viral baby comments from recent interview

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez were captured the couple on vacation – both appearing quite stoic.

In the pictures, Lauren, 56, and Jeff, 62, were caught with solemn expressions on a boat in the Galápagos Islands. The married couple were spotted taxiing from their $500 million yacht, heading to a beach in the Galapagos, Ecuador. Body language expert Judi James, who examined Jeff and Lauren, acknowledged why may be fewer “smiles” between the power couple.

“There are less smiles than usual from the power couple here, suggesting they are either taking their trip to Galapagos seriously or the latest criticisms, but there are hints the pair are still in a honeymoon mood from the way Lauren is dressed and posing like a Hollywood star here while Jeff keeps behind her looking a little protective and concerned,” Judi told Irish Star, after the two had a lavish $500 million wedding in June 2025.

It was apparent from Lauren’s exposed midriff that she most likely wasn’t pregnant, given how sculpted it was. Although Lauren and Jeff already have seven children from previous relationships between them, the former television journalist has admitted she was open to having a baby with her new husband Jeff.

Lauren revealed in an interview published Saturday, April 11, that she desired a child with Jeff. She said, “I would have another one tomorrow. Tomorrow. I would have a baby tomorrow.”

Lauren pushed for the interviewer to get pregnant with her own child, as she’s already the mom of three. She had her oldest son, Nikko, 25, with former NFL star Tony Gonzales; meanwhile, she shares son Evan, 19, and daughter Ella, 18, with her ex-husband, businessman Patrick Whitesell. Meanwhile, Jeff shares three sons and one daughter with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott.

While speaking with New York Times, Lauren detailed her relationship with Jeff, admitting that he is her “best friend” and that she “talked about everything with him.”

Lauren explained: “”Everything! Jeff is my best friend, and I don’t say that lightly.” Also, in the interview, Lauren talked about her high-profile friendships with A-listers, including Kris Jenner, 70, and Leonardo DiCaprio, 51.

When speaking on Leonardo, she said, “People act like he’s my new friend. No, I’ve known Leo since I was 25. Twenty-five.”

Additionally, an insider told the Daily Mail, “Everyone these days goes to Lauren, she is like a matchmaker now because, between her friends and Jeff’s friends, they know a ton of eligible bachelors and they are cool, they will introduce people for sure.”
