Redesigned Trump Phone Finally Emerges on Overhauled Trump Mobile Website

The Trump Phone looks like it’s still on its way, albeit very late to the party. The redesigned phone, first shown off to The Verge during a video call in early February, is finally on the Trump Mobile website as of April 14.

The site has been completely overhauled, as The Verge spotted earlier Tuesday. It now shows a gold handset with a triple vertical-lens rear camera bump that says “Trump Mobile” on it, and a white or black (both are shown) American flag on the back. It looks just like the handset shown by Trump Mobile executives to The Verge months ago, although the site notes that the image is “for illustration only” and “final product appearance and specifications may vary.”

It’s the third design of the T1 Phone, which was initially announced upon the launch of Trump Mobile in June 2025. The Trump Phone was originally planned for an August release that year, but when it became obvious that domestic large-scale smartphone manufacturing would not be possible, Trump Mobile dropped its “made in the US” claim.

The list of specs has now also been updated to largely match what was in The Verge’s report, too. The specs, as they stand now, are a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, a USB-C port, a 50MP main camera with 8MP wide-angle and 50MP (2x telephoto) lenses, a 50MP front-facing camera, a 5,000-mAh battery with 30-watt quick charge, a fingerprint sensor, “AI face unlock” and 512GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 15 with a Snapdragon 7 Mobile Platform.

The price has remained at $499, and Trump Mobile is still accepting $100 deposits on the phone when you preorder it.

The phone is no longer American-made. Now, it is “designed with American values in mind,” an “American-proud design” and “shaped by American innovation.”

Up until April 10, when CNET last checked, the Trump Mobile site said the phone would arrive “later this year” (the same thing it said last year). Now, there’s no mention of a release date on the site. Trump Mobile didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump Mobile also continues to sell refurbished Apple and Samsung phones ranging from $369 to $629 and a $45.47-a-month plan on your own device that includes unlimited calls, texts and data, international calls, roadside assistance and telehealth access.

There’s still no word on which network carriers have partnered with Trump Mobile, but if you sign up for a plan, “Trump will proudly be displayed in the status bar as your network.”

The site also now features photos of Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., rather than images of the president.

“Eric and I are changing the cellphone industry with Trump Mobile,” Donald Trump Jr. says in a video on the About page.

“America’s new wireless freedom is so much more than another phone,” Eric Trump adds.
