Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have met their fair share of celebrities, but there’s one superstar who takes the cake.
The “Live with Kelly and Mark” hosts, cheered on their youngest child, 23-year-old Joaquin Consuelos, on Thursday, April 9, as he made his Broadway debut during the opening night performance of “Death of a Salesman.”
Ripa and Consuelos, who’ve been married since 1996, are also parents to son Michael Consuelos, 28, and Lola Consuelos, 24.
The couple shared their excitement for Joaquin’s performance on social media, with Ripa sharing photos of the show’s playbill on her Instagram stories. “Opening night vibes,” she wrote.

Consuelos reposted a photo of himself and Joaquin hanging out after the show. The father-son duo was twinning in matching black blazers.
Joaquin stars as “Young Biff” in “Death of a Salesman,” a revival of the Tony-winning play by Arthur Miller. The show, directed by Joe Mantello, also features Nathan Lane, Laurie Metcalf, Jonathan Cake and Christopher Abbott.
Even before the production officially hit the Broadway stage, Ripa and Consuelos gave glowing reviews of the show after watching previews in March.
“It was unbelievable,” Ripa said in a March 11 clip. “The entire production is incredible and just to see Joaquin up there took my breath away. … Incredible, incredible cast, production, staging — the whole thing.”
She added: “Just to see our kid onstage thrilled me. It’s crazy. Doesn’t make any sense. … If you would have told me when he was a newborn, ‘Oh, 22 years from now he’ll be starring on Broadway in ‘Death of a Salesman,’ I would have thought you were on drugs.”
Consuelos, who’s making his own Broadway turn in a revival of Noël Coward’s “Fallen Angels,” also praised his son’s showbiz chops.
“He’s amazing. He did such a good job,” Consuelos said on March 9. “I was watching him with a smile on my face. And [I] cried.”
