Apple is expected to launch two new iPhone apps in 2026. The first is a standalone Apple Business app, set to be released on April 14. The second is a dedicated Siri app with chatbot features, which is reported to arrive later in the year alongside iOS 27. Both apps will also be available on iPad and Mac.
Apple Business App Replaces Three Existing Tools
The Apple Business app combines three existing platforms: Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple Business Connect. Employees working with the Apple Business platform will be able to install work apps, view contact information for colleagues, and request IT support all within a single app.
Apple has confirmed the launch date as April 14. The app requires iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26.
Standalone Siri App With Chatbot Functionality Expected In 2026
Apple has not officially announced a Siri app. Recent reports suggest that the company is testing a standalone version of Siri that lets users interact via text and voice, with access to a history of previous conversations. The functionality is said to be similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini app.
The app is expected to require iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, indicating it may be released later in 2026 alongside Apple’s next major software update cycle. Apple has not confirmed the existence of the app, its features, or a release date.
