美國總統川普(Donald Trump)今日正式公布「總統科技顧問委員會」(PCAST)的首批成員名單,這份名單可謂「地表最強科技陣容」!最令台灣民眾與全球科技圈振奮的是,輝達(NVIDIA)執行長黃仁勳與超微(AMD)執行長蘇姿丰雙雙入列,為美國的科技與創新政策獻策。

AI教父教母攜手進白宮!黃仁勳、蘇姿丰成亮點

根據白宮新聞稿指出,在川普最新簽署的行政命令下,新一屆PCAST旨在匯集全美頂尖科學與技術人才,以強化美國在科技領域的全球領導地位。名單中最受矚目的焦點,莫過於帶領全球AI浪潮的關鍵人物——輝達執行長黃仁勳(Jensen Huang),以及帶領超微重返巔峰的執行長蘇姿丰(Lisa Su)。

這兩位來自台灣、在全球半導體界舉足輕重的巨頭入選,不僅象徵晶片與人工智慧技術已成為美國國家戰略的最核心,也顯示川普政府對於維持半導體霸權的強烈決心。

名單太華麗!祖克柏、戴爾、Google創辦人全入列

除了黃仁勳與蘇姿丰,這份首批公布的13人名單簡直是「矽谷名人堂」:

  • Meta創辦人:祖克柏(Mark Zuckerberg)
  • Google創辦人:布林(Sergey Brin)
  • 戴爾電腦創辦人:邁克爾戴爾(Michael Dell)
  • 甲骨文(Oracle)兩大巨頭:創辦人艾里森(Larry Ellison)與執行長卡茨(Safra Catz)
  • 矽谷創投教父:安德里森(Marc Andreessen)

委員會將由知名創投家大衛薩克斯(David Sacks)與前白宮科技政策官員克拉希歐斯(Michael Kratsios)共同主持。

瞄準「創新黃金時代」!川普要確保美國勞工不被淘汰

白宮指出,這屆PCAST的任務將聚焦於「新興技術帶來的機遇與挑戰」,特別是如何在人工智慧與自動化浪潮中,保護並加強美國勞動力,確保所有美國民眾都能在川普口中的「創新黃金時代」中獲益。

自1933年羅斯福總統設立科學顧問小組以來,歷任美國總統都會成立類似的專家委員會。而川普這次大手筆找來多位身價破千億美元的「實戰派」企業家,顯然不只是要諮詢學術意見,更要將美國的科技產業直接與國家競爭力掛鉤。
