A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was rewarded for his efforts in the club’s latest outing with the Man of the Match award.
The player in question? Raphinha.
Barcelona were of course back in action a short time ago, welcoming Newcastle United to the Spotify Camp Nou for the 2nd leg of a Champions League Last-16 tie.

Wide-man Raphinha, meanwhile, was afforded a starting berth for the matchup, on the left wing.
And en route to an eventual 7-2 Blaugrana romp, the Brazilian proved himself one of the stars of the show.
All of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal and FermÃn López chipped in with a pair of direct goal contributions across the 90 minutes.
Raphinha, though, managed four of his own (a brace and two assists), as well as a penalty won.
And as alluded to above, such endeavours proved enough for the former Leeds United man to beat out stiff competition to the Man of the Match prize.
