Poco F7 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 6,000 mAh battery

The Poco F7 Ultra may be the more powerful member in the series, but the Poco F7 Pro is no slouch. Armed with Qualcomm’s previous-gen flagship chip – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and paired up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, the F7 Pro is one of the more interesting upper midrange devices.

Poco F7 Pro is essentially a Redmi K80 but with a slightly smaller 6,000 mAh battery which still charges at 90W speeds.

You get a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel features a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint reader, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness.

Poco F7 Pro also features the dedicated VisionBoost D7 graphics chip, just like the F7 Ultra. The chipset helps with resolution upscaling and keeping stable frame rates during gaming sessions and HDR content streaming on apps like YouTube and Netflix. The phone also features a Surge G1 battery chip and a Surge P3 chip that monitors charging.

There’s a 50MP main cam around the back armed with a Light Fusion 800 sensor (1/1.55”, 1.0µm pixels) and OIS. It is paired alongside an 8MP ultrawide. You also get a 20MP front-facing shooter.

The software side is covered by Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, complete with HyperAI suite and Google Gemini support. Poco is pledging 4 years of Android upgrades and 6 years of security patches. You also get IP68 water and dust resistance just like on the F7 Ultra.

Poco F7 Pro comes in black, silver, and blue colors. Pricing starts at $499 / €599 / £499 for the 12/256GB trim and $549/ €649 / £549 for the 12/512GB trim. Poco is taking early-bird orders starting today until April 10 with an additional $50 / €100 / £50 bonus.
