該集團指,香港市場對優質的數據中心基礎設施及服務的需求仍然強勁。但是因為成本較高,香港並非「模型」訓練的理想地點,亦未具有最先進的芯片。

然而,該公司指出,對人工智能驅動應用不斷增長的需求惠及香港的數據中心,這些數據中心提供超低時延、高帶寬連接和關鍵基礎設施,同時戰略性地更靠近終端用戶。因此,眾多雲端╱人工智能客戶選擇他們位於香港的數據中心。金融機構及企業亦不斷提高對數據中心服務的標準,日益注重營運可持續性及靈活性。該等發展亦令他們的數據中心受惠,使我們能夠在市場上獲取溢價空間。 

由於將軍澳MEGA IDC第一期取得正面回響,新意網表示,已著手建設MEGA IDC第二期,將增加約35萬平方呎總樓面面積。第二期計劃於2026.2027年度竣工。同時,該項目的第一期已經度過資本支出的高峰期。

主席郭炳聯在業績公告又批評,自2022年5月其針對香港科技園公司的司法覆核案件中勝訴,科技園之後揭發HKCOLO及NTT Com Asia Ltd在內的營運商的多項違規行為,但是科技園至今採取的唯一具體強制行動為對HKCOLO發出傳票。甚至兩年多後NTT仍未完成整改。這清楚顯示科技園一直拖延強制執行過程。他們已一再敦促科技園向公眾披露究竟採取了甚麼措施以糾正違規行為,以及是否已調查將軍澳創新園內所有潛在的違規情況,但科技園仍堅稱,彼等「認為沒有理由每當遇到違反租約限制的安排時,科技園都必須公佈任何調查結果」。 

新意網形容,如此缺乏透明度的情況實屬無法接受,而在他們看來,對於一個政府相關實體而言,如此的情況更是前所未有。這種拖延的態度令人失望。科技園尚欠給公眾一個圓滿解釋,亦有失職之嫌。該集團呼籲科技園就該等問題向公眾提供公開及深入的解決方案。
