Realme Neo7 scores impressive sales in first day

Realme launched the Neo7 last week, and today, the company held the first flash sale of the smartphone. Demand was so high that the first five minutes saw more purchases than the whole first-day sale of the predecessor Realme GT Neo6.

The Realme Neo7 has a Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a powerful 7,000 mAh battery. Its starting price is CNY2,199, or about $300.

The Neo7 is a promising premium smartphone. Its 6.78” LTPO OLED has a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, and Realme claims the panel can reach 6,000 nits peak brightness.

Camera-wise, the smartphone is not that impressive – 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor is used for the main cam, and the secondary is an 8 MP ultrawide shooter.

The predecessor GT Neo6 launched internationally as Realme GT6. We have to wait and see whether the company will also bring Neo7 to the global stage.
