國泰:10月載客人次增19% 貨運增14% (17:17) – 20241121 – 即時財經新聞

10月載客201.41萬人次,較2023年同月增加19.6%。月內收入乘客千米數按年上升19.1%。乘客運載率下跌1.6個百分點至83.1%,而可用座位千米數則按年增加21.3%。在2024年首十個月,載客人次較去年同期增加27.4%至1856.78萬人次,可用座位千米上升32.7%,而收入乘客千米數則上升26.8%。

10月運載14.23萬公噸貨物,較去年同月增加14.3%。月內貨物收入噸千米數按年增加9.8%,運載率增加0.8個百分點至61.5%。而可用貨物噸千米數則按年增加8.4%。首十個月,載貨量按年增10.4%至124.58萬公噸,可用貨物噸千米數增加8.8%,而貨物收入噸千米數則上升4.1%。

客運顧客及商務總裁劉凱詩表示,「十月是另一客運旺季,無論是休閒旅遊或商務出行都有強勁需求,整體航線網絡的乘客運載率達到83%。在月初的國慶日「黃金周」假期,為數較多的香港和內地休閒旅客前往東南亞、東北亞和歐洲等地。而香港的重陽節長周末,也帶動了大量本地旅客前往亞洲各城市短途度假的穩健需求,當中日本是大部分顧客首選」。

劉凱詩表示,「同時,受惠於在本港舉辦的眾多不同的大型會展活動,加上於廣州舉行的中國進出口商品交易會,商務出行需求保持強勁,造就十月的前艙乘客量創疫後新高。上月,我們歡慶往來香港與利雅德的直航服務啟航。新航線廣受歡迎,尤其是來自香港、內地、沙特阿拉伯及印尼的需求較為殷切。

貨運方面,劉凱詩表示,「十月份仍然處於貨運傳統高峰期,貨運量較上月高出7%,對比去年十月更高出14%。縱使月內有多天公眾假期,貨運業務依然表現理想。此強勁的勢頭不但來自香港和內地的需求帶動,更源自我們廣泛的網絡,尤以美洲為甚。期間,一般貨運需求繼續增長。受惠於東北亞出口的多宗機械運載,『國泰特殊貨物運送』的貨量增加。『國泰優先運送』的需求亦保持上升趨勢,反映付貨人為應付即將到來的節日和年終促銷傳統活動,對補充庫存的需求更強烈」。

劉凱詩表示,「展望未來,預期聖誕假期會是另一浪的旅遊高峰,相信日本仍會是香港市民出行最熱門的地方。預料隨著眾多顧客來港探望親友,由北美、英國和其他歐洲國家來港的需求亦將會顯著增加」。

劉凱詩表示,「至於新航點,國泰航空每周三對往來開恩茲的季節服務將於2024年12月17日開始營運。最近我們亦宣布從2025年3月30日開始,恢復往來海得拉巴的客運直航服務,進一步加強我們在印度的網絡。除此,香港快運在今年11月起,推出每周三對往來香港與廣島的航線,至明年一月增至每周四對航班」。

劉凱詩表示,「貨運方面,在來自內地和東亞南的電子商貿、高科技和電子產品;以及來自西南太平洋和美洲地區運載鮮貨所帶動下,預期在未來的整個旺季會繼續保持穩健需求」。

就早前公布建議回購67.4億元可轉債,回購價格將於12月19日收市後釐定。
