同時,該行的數據亦發現,高端中場玩家亦比之前多出42%,亦反映出休閒玩家重臨。雖然此舉會按年攤薄了每名玩家的平均下注金額約5%,但是足以成為推動總下注按年增長36%的動力。按其在9月24日到澳門賭場的高端中場觀察所得,單在9月單日已錄得1190萬元投注,比去年同月的880萬元,多出26%;場內的賭客亦按年增加42%至613名。但是由於場內多了玩家,因此平均下注碼按年跌5%至19389元。從數據上顯示,該行認為,高端中場賭客的質素仍保持強勁。

至於在追蹤豪賭的「巨鯨」芳踪方面,今個月比去年同月錄得的數目多達21名,比去年同月多出4名。月內下注最豪的「巨鯨」曾經在銀河娛樂(0027)旗下星際娛樂場天峰下注達64萬元。在澳門銀河更見多達5個「巨鯨」級賭客,在短時間到訪期間,下注10萬至25萬元。該行更第二次見到來自韓國的「巨鯨」賭客。除此之外,該行亦發現在美高梅中國(2282)旗下美獅美高梅高注額區,有3名「巨鯨」賭客下注19萬至28萬元,另有3名「巨鯨」賭客到訪該娛娛樂場的Supreme Room。在新濠博亞(美:MLCO)旗下新濠影匯高注額區,亦見3名「巨鯨」賭客下注30萬至40萬元。 

花旗指出,金沙中國(1928)的高端中場表現復蘇,今月排名首位,佔總注碼比重達26%,較8月份佔比高4個百分點。雖然倫敦人仍然有翻新工程進行中,但是在錄得的博彩業務量保持穩固,新濠博亞則對高端中場進行重塑品牌,在今個月的注碼佔比達17%,比早一個月的13.5%為高。從新濠影匯所見「巨鯨」出沒,認為今次新濠博亞重塑品牌已見成功。

雖然「巨鯨」賭客在澳門頻繁現身,但是濠賭股股價今日受壓,跌幅最大為金沙中國,全日股價跌1.95%,成交額達3.86億元。
