駿利亨德森投資Richard Clode:近日趁跌市增持美科技股 – 20250310 – 經濟 – 每日明報

駿利亨德森投資Richard Clode由2014年以來已在該行任職環球科技領先團隊投資組合經理,而他在2003年已於Herald Investment Management出任基金經理,開展全球科技股投資管理事業至今22年。Clode在英國牛津大學取得現代歷史一級榮譽學士畢業,並且是特許金融分析師(CFA)。

業績未超預期 投資者去槓桿致股價跌

隨着納指去年12月16日創歷史新高20,204點後,過去兩個多月調整,累積跌幅近一成,而Clode上周五從英國來港主講投資會議時,被記者問及對此的看法:「美國科技股股價處於正常健康調整,抑或升勢已告一段落?」

Clode分析,美國科技股股價近月調整由多項因素導致,首先是早前借錢買貨者被迫平倉沽貨所致,Clode表示:「有很多投資者大量加槓桿於美國科技股,包括借孖展買個股、指數交易所買賣基金(ETF)及結構性產品等,而相關ETF可佔日均交易量近三分一;有些對冲基金會把握市場此高槓桿的情况賺錢,因為當美國科技股股價明顯調整,部分早前已借錢買股者便要強制沽貨來平倉去槓桿,這令短期股價跌勢加快,此現象在去年暑假曾出現,近日又再次重演。」

至於美國科技股股價近月調整的第二個原因,Clode認為是大部分公布的去年第四季業績未能超市場預期,這為投資者帶來沽貨的藉口。

投資美科技股 Magnificent 7再非首選

美股三大指數道指、標指及納指同樣於2022年10月第二周見底後,升勢曾延續逾兩年,而期內作為科技股代表的納指升幅跑贏有較多傳統股份的道指及標指,惟納指表現與受惠人工智能熱潮(AI)的蘋果(美:AAPL)、微軟(美:MSFT)、Google母企Alphabet(美:GOOG)、Meta(美:META)、Nvidia(英偉達)(美:NVDA)、亞馬遜(美:AMZN)及Tesla(美:TSLA)的美國7隻龍頭科技股(Magnificent 7)比較仍遠遠不及。不過,Magnificent 7指數於去年12月18日見頂後,過去兩個多月跌近兩成,跑輸納指、標指及道指(見圖),記者於是請教Clode目前投資美國科技股會否仍以Magnificent 7為首選。

Clode表示:「不會,我從不相信投資股票要採用縮寫字(acronym)。你也知道,我總是希望以合理的估值去投資最好的公司。如果你說Magnificent 7的話,每間公司均有完全不同的AI市場定位及發展策略,個別在中國亦有業務,故此盈利增長亦有高有低,而個別公司估值處於高得荒謬的水平,個別公司估值則非常低、低於標指平均值,所以我覺得作為一名主動投資的基金經理,可以透過對Magnificent 7採取不同配置倉位以取得超額回報,例如我們的投資組合便完全無持有Tesla。」

指台積電增投資 利好美科技業

除了認為Magnificent 7每間上市公司投資價值不可一概而論外,Clode亦指出,在美國科技股中,受惠AI投資主題的不止Magnificent 7,很多中小型科技股也值得留意。Clode又強調,在美國科技股外,中國科技股也不容忽視,透露旗下基金在今年初曾買入一些中國科技股,在其股價過去兩個多月急升後,近日始略為減持中國科技股,轉為略增持美國科技股。

根據Clode的分析,雖然美國科技股股價上周繼續調整,惟當地科技業界期內並非完全無好消息,例如台積電(台:2330)上周初便宣布增加投資1000億美元於亞利桑那州(Arizona)擴建先進晶片製造設施。
