金管局:上半年零售銀行稅前溢利按年升6.2% 特定分類比率或趨向2% (17:42) – 20240927 – 即時財經新聞

由於利息支出的增長快於利息收入的增長,零售銀行於今年上半年的淨息差為1.51%,較去年同期收窄0.11個百分點。在高息環境持續下,信貸需求疲軟,銀行信貸溫和減少,今年上半年銀行貸款及墊款總額減少1.9%,主要是由於本地貸款,包括在香港境內和境外使用的貸款均有所下跌。

信貸質素方面,銀行貸款組合的資產質素於2024年上半年轉差,所有認可機構的總特定分類貸款比率在6月底為1.89%,按季上升0.1個百分點,較去年底則升0.32個百分點,續創20年新高。所有認可機構的逾期及經重組貸款比率亦由2023年底的1.24%上升至2024年6月底的1.52%。內地相關貸款的總特定分類貸款比率升至2.78%,較去年底升0.2個百分點。

金管局指,雖然香港銀行業的總特定分類貸款比率上升,但資產質素仍然維持在健康水平。一些風險因素,未來或在多方面對香港銀行業構成挑戰,包括美國貨幣政策利率走勢及其對本港利率未來的影響仍然不明朗。公司借款人的財務基礎在較長時間維持高息的利率環境下可能受到的影響,消耗流動資金緩衝,或不利於公司借款人的償債能力。另外,多個地區之間的貿易糾紛升級,亦是另一個值得密切監察的重要風險。不過,香港銀行業的穩健資本及流動性狀況,應能提供強大緩衝以抵禦相關風險因素帶來的衝擊。

展望未來,金管局指特定分類貸款比率可能會趨向2%的歷史長期平均水平,美國貨幣政策利率走向存在不確定因素,加上地緣經濟碎片化,將繼續對本港銀行業構成挑戰。鑑於高息環境對企業的償債能力的影響,銀行在管理相關風險因素對其貸款組合的資產質素的影響時須保持警惕,並繼續保持充足的撥備額。
