（中央社紐約30日綜合外電報導）社群龍頭臉書（Facebook）母公司Meta執行長祖克柏，今天在員工大會上表示，公司的裁員計畫是為了因應人工智慧（AI）領域不斷攀升的資本支出，同時，他也不排除未來進一步縮減人力的可能性。

路透社報導，祖克柏（Mark Zuckerberg）在員工大會中指出：「公司基本上有兩大成本中心：運算基礎設施以及與人相關的支出。」

祖克柏表示：「如果我們為了服務社群而向其中一個領域投入更多資金，就意味著我們分配給另一個領域的資金會減少，這也代表我們確實需要稍微縮減公司規模。」

他進一步表示，這波人力裁減與Meta將團隊重組為「AI原生」架構，以及開發能自主執行工作任務的「AI代理人」（AI agents）無關。

Meta近期在宣布AI導向組織轉型的同時，對裁員計畫保持沉默，加上公司計劃追蹤員工的滑鼠移動、點擊和按鍵習慣以訓練AI代理人，引發員工強烈不滿。

祖克柏告訴員工：「推動內部全員使用AI工具或提升工作效率不是導致裁員的原因。」但他隨後補充「會觀察後續趨勢」，並稱公司「很快將能分享更多資訊」。

這是路透社3月首度披露Meta裁員計畫以來，祖克柏首次直接對員工談及此事。

Meta計畫5月20日裁員約10%，並打算在下半年進一步裁員。祖克柏與其他高層雖證實5月的裁員行動，但拒絕針對後續計畫發表評論。（編譯：劉淑琴）1150501
