香港的士車費全球排44 平過巴勒斯坦、貴過阿聯酋


的士司機一句「有啲市民賺唔到錢,坐甚麼都話貴」來回應加價申請,焫㷫全城網民,但香港的士是否正如這位司機所講「全世界最平」?這也未必!翻查資料香港的士價格在全球95個地區中排名44,雖然比不上號稱物價高的歐美國家,但比香港的士比競爭對手頭新加坡,以及近期因「杜拜王子搭棚事件」熱爆的阿聯酋都要貴。

香港的士車費 全球排44

香港的士上一次加價是2022年7月,加幅介乎11.5%至13.8%,今次再要求加價,主要是車油氣價、維修、保險等成本增加,令司機收入大減,也可能是每次加價後,的士車主加車租而蠶食司機收入。其實香港搭的士究竟貴唔貴?據Numeo收集了全球95個地方的的士收費資料,並權衡各地車費計法、種類不同,概括地以10公里車程的平均每一公里車費來排名,結果發現香港每公里收費約為1.28美元,在排行榜中排44位的中游位置,比巴勒斯坦的41為低(1.36美元),但高於近期因「杜拜王子」而熱爆、排名65的阿聯酋(0.82美元)。

而排在第一、二位結果不意外,分別為出名物價指數高的瑞士及盧森堡,當中瑞士每公里價格高達4.43美元,是香港的3.5倍;而排在香港之前不少是西方大國,德國排名12、澳州20位、美國27位、英國36位;另外港人「鄉下」日本排名第七,每公里2.63美元。

歐美大國車費較高

不過也有部分結果打破大家的刻板印象,中美洲加勒比海島小國牙買加排名全球第四,搭一公里的士高達3.24美元,當地以旅遊業為主要經濟收入,搭的士都以高消費遊客為主;而西非尼日利亞以1.79美元排名24,比英國、美國都要高;而飽受失控通脹煎熬的委內瑞拉,的士價格高達全球第六。不過東南亞國家搭的士普遍較便宜,泰國1.1美元排在香港4位之後,被港府視為競爭對手的新加坡僅0.74美元,在95個地區排70,而中國大陸則排名83。

由上述結果、加上香港高人均GDP,香港在先進地區中並不算貴,按負擔能力更綽綽有餘,但為何香港人放棄的士?香港的士業服務水平眾所皆知,連新加坡媒體都曾撰文介紹,的士司機也有各式各樣的拒載理由,例如嫌太遠、嫌太近、拒過海等,都令乘客大感無奈。

港人的士負擔能力強

Uber自2014年起進軍香港市場後,有的士司機對其恨之入骨,多次指其為「白牌車」而提出抗議,警方亦因應推出拘捕行動,2015年警方曾派出警員喬裝乘客使用Uber服務,拘捕五名司機,令Uber一度暫停部分服務;2017年警方更拘捕28名Uber司機,各人被裁定「駕駛汽車以作出租或取酬載客用途」罪成,之後再向終審法院提出終極上訴亦遭駁回。不過看來無阻Uber在乘客中的良好印象,而而Uber在2020推出Uber Taxi服務,除了據稱可增加司機收入兩、三成,亦推出免費課程,吸引司機入行,更獲得親中媒體以「Uber有優勢,的士勿趕客」來表揚。據Uber在2021年提供的數據,有超過21.6萬名人註冊為Uber及Uber Taxi司機;而香港有超過20萬人持有的士駕駛執照,當中活躍司機有4萬人。

Uber、滴滴搶客 改善服務為王道

的士司機視Uber為死敵,但更大的威脅可能是來自祖國的滴滴出行,滴滴出行旗下的「快的Taxi」在2018年進入香港市場,更傳出今年香港上市,自此以後就未聞有成功的罷駛行動,或者的士司機要接受改善服務質素的現實,
