IM Motors officially put the all-new LS6 onto the market on Sept. 23, with prices starting at RMB 197,900. The five-seat battery-electric SUV is the first family-oriented model under the automaker’s “NEXT·2028” strategy. The new LS6 combines a Agile Lizard Digital chassis-by-wire system, NEO electric powertrain and vehicle-wide physical AI.

The all-new LS6 comes standard with IM Motors’ next-generation Agile Lizard Digital chassis-by-wire system. The system features three layers of safety redundancy and SynVector full-domain by-wire vector torque coordination, with a claimed response time of 20 milliseconds. According to IM Motors, the system is designed to enhance vehicle control in challenging conditions such as heavy rain, crosswinds and high-speed tire blowouts.
The chassis also gives the LS6 a claimed 4.49-meter turning radius, while its steering ratio can be adjusted across three settings. Together, these functions are intended to improve both low-speed maneuverability and high-speed stability.
The LS6 is equipped with IM Motors’ next-generation NEO electric powertrain and an 800V high-voltage platform capable of supporting up to 396 kW of charging power. IM Motors says the vehicle can add up to 500 km of range in 15 minutes and is compatible with more than 90% of charging piles currently available on the market.
The system is also designed to address cold-weather charging. According to the company, the LS6 can maintain stable charging at temperatures as low as -20°C, with battery charge retention of up to 95%.
The SUV uses a 93-kWh CATL battery and offers a claimed CLTC range of up to 782 km. Its battery safety system includes a rapid power-disconnect device designed to cut power within milliseconds when a potential risk is detected.
The LS6 also introduces a vehicle-wide physical AI system covering both driver assistance and intelligent cabin functions.
For assisted driving, the latest IM AD Zeta system uses what IM Motors describes as Level 4 model capabilities to support Level 2 functions. The vehicle also debuts a driver incapacitation assistance system designed to autonomously bring the vehicle to a stop in an emergency.
In the intelligent cabin, the LS6 introduces the IM Claw AI agent, developed by IM Motors in collaboration with Alibaba’s Qwen large language model. Rather than being limited to conventional voice commands, the system is designed to execute multiple tasks through a single natural-language instruction. IM Motors also plans to connect IM Claw with Alibaba’s broader AI ecosystem.
Beyond its technology package, the LS6 places considerable emphasis on passenger comfort. The driver’s seat comes standard with a 4D mechanical massage function, while the front passenger seat offers three configurations, including zero-gravity and lounge-style modes.
The rear seats feature electrically adjustable backrests with a maximum angle of 131 degrees. Ventilation, heating and massage functions are available across the vehicle’s seats.
The LS6 also comes standard with a B&O audio system and an 11-liter dual-door refrigerator, adding further comfort and convenience features for family users.
