The Shibuya Incident in Jujutsu Kaisen tells a thrilling story. It’s about powerful spirits and cursed users who want to lock up Satoru Gojo together. In this enormous disaster, Pseudo-Geto plays a key role. He works with Mahito to make powerful and cursed energies better. This leaves a heavy impact because of the damage they cause.
Kenjaku’s goal in the comic book is to start something called Culling Games. These are dangerous fights where sorcerers from different times join together for a big battle. Mahito’s method helped Kenjaku wake up people marked in his big plan. This started the dangerous Culling Games, where many will die. His main goal is to learn more about Dark Energy, looking for chaos like the crazy Heian Era of Jujutsu magic.
What did Kenjaku do at the end of Shibuya?
At its peak, the Shibuya Incident uses Pseudo-Geto or Kenjaku to make new sorcerers with Mahito’s stronger cursed method all over Japan. Geto, pretending to be Mahito, uses skills he saw in a past fight. These powers join regular people and magical users together by making humans use the Cursed Energy like sorcerers do.
Mahito’s fancy skills, learned from fights against Yuji and Todo, let Pseudo-Geto change many picked people. As more people use Cursed Energy, they begin fighting among themselves, making the strongest survivors appear. Pseudo-Geto sees this mess as a way to increase total Cursed Energy. His real reasons are still unclear, and we may find out more in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3.
After the Shibuya Arc ends, Kenjaku takes in Cursed Spirit Mahito using his power to control spirits. This is called spirit manipulation. Getting Mahito’s Idle Transfiguration, a very important thing for his bad plans, Kenjaku talks to Jujutsu sorcerers. He aims to take over the Prison Realm world’s control in future.
At the end of Shibuya, Kenjaku’s actions in Jujutsu Kaisen showed a big change. This means we will explore how he is driven and see deep consequences of his plans for the story to come.
