The Sopranos & MCU Stars Cast in New Mob Movie Brick City, More Details Revealed

Brick City is already building serious buzz among crime drama fans, and the newly revealed cast explains why. The upcoming indie mob flick features familiar faces from The Sopranos, Marvel projects, and several acclaimed TV dramas, assembling a lineup tailor-made for a gritty New Jersey crime story.

With production details now emerging, Brick City is emerging as one of the most intriguing independent mob movies in development.

Who is starring in the new mob movie Brick City?

Leading Brick City’s cast is Paul Borghese, whose career has gained momentum through crime dramas and sports biopics. Fans know him best for portraying Yogi Berra in 61* as well as his recurring role in Amazon Prime Video’s Gravesend. In this film, he takes on the role of John “Johnny Bricks” Trasmundi, a low-level mob associate forced to face deadly consequences from his past, fighting to shield his future and his teenage daughter, as old threats resurface.

Joining him is Al Sapienza, widely remembered by The Sopranos fans for playing Mikey Palmice in the iconic HBO series. In Brick City, Sapienza plays Frank DeRocco, a powerful crime boss whose influence drives much of the film’s tension.

The movie also brings Marvel talent into the mix with Kelvin McGrue, known for his appearance in Luke Cage. Meanwhile, Victoria Rooney appears as Grace Trasmundi, Johnny’s daughter and one of the film’s emotional anchors. Rooney has previously earned attention for her work in Truth Slash Fiction and for her acclaimed Off-Broadway performances. The supporting cast also includes Regina Schneider from The Blacklist, The Sopranos alum Kathrine Narducci, and Hal Miers from Blue Bloods.

Writer-director Jack Foley enters Brick City after receiving praise for his short films Heart of Gold and Lizzie. He is working alongside Emmy-recognized cinematographer Jake Simpson and Brownstone Films.
