Arsenal Ready to Go to War to Sign Real Madrid Star Eduardo Camavinga

Arsenal could be set to win the ‘bidding war’ between various Premier League clubs to land Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid, according to reports – with the Spanish giants setting their price tag to prise the Frenchman away from La Liga.

Arsenal remain four points ahead of Manchester City and Aston Villa in the Premier League title race despite their loss to Manchester United last weekend, but they will need players to come in should they win the league.

That may not happen in the final 48 hours of the Premier League transfer window this week, though summer steps will be being taken and Camavinga could join the Gunners in their ‘war’ to secure his signature.

Report: Arsenal ‘To Enter War’ to Sign Eduardo Camavinga

The report by Spanish outlet Fichajes states that there is ‘war’ in the Premier League over the signing of Camavinga – with Madrid being open to selling the Frenchman for around £61million.

Arsenal are one of the clubs embroiled in the battle to land the ‘extraordinary‘ star, as well as Liverpool, with both being keen on the versatility that Camavinga has shown in the Spanish capital ahead of a move.

Camavinga’s potential departure is one that Madrid are looking to do, as they bid to balance their account before securing some ‘high-profile’ future signings at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real are willing to listen to serious offers of £61million for Camavinga, which would allow for a ‘major restructuring of their midfield’, and Arsenal could swoop. The Gunners are also thought to be interested in Turkish starlet Arda Guler, though their interest in Camavinga is ‘concrete’.

Mikel Arteta is looking for a player who is capable of rotating with Declan Rice in the starting XI, and whilst the Gunners have Martin Zubimendi and Mikel Merino in their ranks, Camavinga would represent a more box-to-box, physical profile than the Spanish duo.

The Gunners believe Camavinga would bring physical expertise to the Premier League, increasing their options throughout the ranks.

It’s unclear what Arsenal need given they’re already top of the table in both the Premier League and the Champions League.

However, if Arteta believes they need more physicality in midfield, there may well be little arguments amongst the fanbase.

Liverpool Ready Unprecedented Offer to Sign £260,000-a-Week Star After Midweek Development

Liverpool spent huge amounts of money in the summer transfer window but they could still spent huge once again

Zubimendi is diminutive for a midfielder, whilst Christian Norgaard has rarely been used in the centre of the park, and stronger rotation with Rice may be crucial given how vital the Englishman is to their plans to finally get some silverware over the line.
