‘I seriously wish someone would pay me $76million if I promised never to return to work. I think I could make it work,’ a different fan added.
Another quipped,’ ‘The words ‘you’re fired and ‘here’s $75million’ don’t seem to fit together.’Â

The news of Fisher’s firing emerged less than a day after the 51-10 win over Mississippi State on Saturday, taking A&M’s record for the season to 6-4 and making them bowl eligible.
According to Yahoo Sports, the groundwork for Fisher’s dismissal was put in place on Thursday after a four hour-meeting, and ESPN said he was told of his fate on Sunday morning.Â
Defensive coordinator Elijah Robinson is expected to step up to replace him for the rest of the season.

Athletic director Ross Bjork said, ‘After very careful analysis of all the components related to Texas A&M football, I recommended that change in the leadership of the program was necessary in order for Aggie football to reach out full potential and they accepted my decision.’
‘We appreciate Coach Fisher’s time here at Texas A&M and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.’
Fisher’s contract was fully guaranteed and reportedly paid around $9m a year.
Additionally, according to Darren Heitner, it contained no offset language – meaning he can take another job and still receive the money.
