Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End or Sousou no Frieren is an adventure fantasy drama anime TV show based on the namesake manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. The plot follows the elven mage Frieren, who was once part of the group that defeated the Demon King and brought peace back to the world. Years have passed since then, and as Frieren begins to lose her comrades to the inevitability of death, she is forced to acknowledge human mortality, prompting her to embark on a new quest.

“After the party of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to lives of solitude.
