Team HK seals more bronze

Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung today congratulated the Hong Kong, China delegation on winning four more bronze medals at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou.

Wong Hok-him, Tony Fung, Lam Ka-yan and Chan Chun-kit earned Xiangqi Mixed Team medals.

Formed by Bailee Brown, Charlotte Hall, Hardcastle Ng and Wong Tsz-to, the Triathlon Mixed Relay team scored bronze.

The remaining two bronzes were won by Wong Chun-ting in the Table Tennis Men’s Singles and Yue Nga-yan in the Women’s Long Jump.

Lauding the athletes’ achievements, Mr Yeung said that with their indomitable spirit, the Hong Kong, China delegation keeps winning medals at the Asian Games, adding that the Government fully supports athletes to continue to strive for excellent results.

The Hong Kong, China delegation has won 44 medals, including six golds, 15 silvers and 23 bronzes at this Asian Games so far.
