White House State Dinner 2024: All the celebrities at the White House state dinner including Robert De Niro, Hillary Clinton and Jeff Bezos

The White House pulled out the red carpet to host some very famous guests for a special state dinner recently.

The star-studded dinner was held on Wednesday in Washington DC by US President Joe Biden in honour of the Japanese Prime Minister and his wife.

While the guest list comprised of many politicians and their partners, Hollywood star Robert De Niro and Jeff Bezos were just some of the A-listers spotted in attendance.

Joe Biden and Fumio Kishida both dressed in black tie for the occasion while their wives opted for chic floor-length gowns.

Jill Biden stunned in a gradient long-sleeve dress with her hair in a messy up-do and pointed white heels peeking out beneath.

The Japanese Prime Minister’s wife Yuko Kishida wowed in an indigo belted gown with a small patterned purse.

Joining the politicians was Goodfellas actor Robert De Niro who looked suave in a suit and tie for the evening.

The movie icon attended the state dinner with his longtime partner Tiffany Chen, who he first started dating in 2021 and welcomed a child with in 2023.

Chen looked chic in a white bodycon dress with a cream off-the-shoulder wrap.

The film producer finished her look with black pointed toe heels and her hair up in a bun.

De Niro and Chen weren’t the only famous couple to stop by the White House.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez walked in hand-in-hand for the formal occasion in their most glamorous attire.

While Bezos opted for a sleek tuxedo and bowtie, his partner wore an off-the-shoulder fitted red gown with a lace bodice that had a sheer fabric at the waist.

The pair reportedly got engaged in 2023 after dating for five years.

Bezos wasn’t the only tech guru in attendance at the White House.

CEO of Apple Tim Cook also wore a suit and bowtie for the event while the Apple Vice President Lisa Jackson dressed in florals with stilettos.

Cook took over as CEO of the tech company in 2011 after previously being the chief operating officer. 

There was even a famous sporting appearance for the night.

American figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi was a vision in midnight blue at the event.

The iconic Olympic skater wowed in a strapless tulle ballgown with floral details on the bodice.

Also at the dinner was former US President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton who was the former Democratic nominee in the 2016 presidential election.

While her husband kept it classic in a suit, Hillary brought a pop of colour to the White House in a long-sleeved pink patterned dress.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris sparkled in an all-black sequined look for the evening as she brought her husband Doug Emhoff as her plus one.
