HK wins first medal at Para Games


Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung today congratulated Ng Cheuk-yan on winning bronze in the Women’s 100m Backstroke S6 at the 4th Asian Para Games.

 

Mr Yeung said the swimmer gave it her all in the competition and won the first medal for the Hong Kong, China delegation, which was encouraging for many other Hong Kong athletes.

 

“I am looking forward to seeing more breakthroughs made by Hong Kong athletes and success in more events,” he added.
