Winger/attacking midfielder Moleiro is for his part in the midst of an impressive individual campaign on the books of Villarreal.

Across 33 La Liga appearances in his debut season on the books of the Yellow Submarine, the 22-year-old has racked up 10 goals and five assists.

And such exploits, it is understood, have not gone at all unnoticed on the part of the Spanish national team staff.

As per a report from Marca, with Álex Baena struggling for form and Víctor Muñoz injured, Luis de la Fuente is giving serious consideration to affording a place in his World Cup squad to the aforementioned Moleiro.

The final weeks of the term will now prove decisive, as Villarreal’s young wide-man eyes his first-ever senior appearance for Spain on international football’s grandest stage.
