Timothée Chalamet recently thanked Kylie Jenner during his acceptance speech at the Critics’ Choice Awards. He won the Best Actor award for his performance as table tennis player, Marty Mauser, in Josh Safdie-directed Marty Supreme. As he made her an honorable mention on the stage, the camera cut to Jenner in the audience, who appeared visibly touched and responded with a short loving response.
What did Timothée Chalamet say about Kylie Jenner during speech at Critics Choice Award?
During his acceptance speech at the Critics’ Choice Awards, Chalamet shared a few words for Jenner, whom he has been dating for three years. He said, “Thank you to my partner for three years… I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” The camera then shifted to Jenner, who appeared moved and responded by uttering, “I love you,” in Chalamet’s direction.
Before thanking his girlfriend, Chalamet seemed visibly emotional, acknowledged his nervousness, and took a moment to thank everyone. He initially gave a shout-out to his fellow nominees before going on to thank Safdie for bringing such an inspirational story to life. “You made a story about…the relatable dream, and you didn’t preach to the audience about what’s right and wrong. I think you should all be telling stories like that, so thank you for this dream,” he added.
Jenner and Chalamet were initially spotted together interacting at Paris Fashion Week in January 2023. However, they weren’t romantically associated until later that year, when the duo was spotted displaying PDA at a Beyoncé concert.
Last year, there were rumors circulating that the duo might have separated, given that Chalamet wasn’t spotted at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party. However, the rumors were put to rest when the couple showed up together later, wearing color-coordinated orange outfits at the L.A. premiere of Marty Supreme.
