A new teaser for Invincible Season 4 was released, ahead of its hotly anticipated launch later this month, placing the spotlight on its primary antagonist, Thragg. It briefly teases the Viltrumite villain’s, voiced by Lee Pace, motives in the upcoming season and the danger he poses to the galaxy. The titular hero has faced numerous powerful villains over the course of three seasons. However, Thragg is being positioned as a threat unlike anything Mark Grayson has ever faced.
Thragg leads the new Invincible Season 4 teaser
Invincible and SkyBound’s official social media channels dropped a new teaser providing a glimpse at Thragg’s role in Season 4. Clocking in at 30 seconds, the footage highlights Thragg’s immense power, emphasized by Omni-Man’s voiceover, a warning presumably to Mark: “However strong you think you are, Thragg is stronger.”
The footage continues teasing Thragg’s feats and abilities, accompanied by a voiceover of Thaedus, who notes that Thragg’s elimination is crucial to the galaxy’s safety, saying it’s “the only thing that matters.”
The teaser concludes with Thragg delivering a speech to the Viltrumites. He reminds them of their strength and dedication to the Viltrum Empire’s ideals that will crush their enemies.
The caption teases that Thragg will be a more challenging opponent to Mark Grayson compared to Conquest, whose abilities greatly outclassed the hero and who brutally injured him during their fight in Season 3. It reads, “In two weeks, you’ll start to understand why some refer to Conquest as ‘light work.’”
Invincible Season 4 premieres its first three episodes on March 18, 2026. The next five episodes will release weekly until April 22, 2026. The upcoming season adapts the Viltrumite War story arc from the comics, which spanned issues #71-78.
Moreover, as teased in the trailer, it will also include a new batch of storylines such as Universa’s arrival on Earth, Mark meeting a new villain, Dinosaurus, and Atom Eve losing control of her powers after having unlocked its full potential to defeat Conquest at the end of Season 3.
Robert Kirkman created Invincible, based on his, Ryan Ottley, and Cory Walker’s comic series of the same name. Steven Yeun stars as the voice of the eponymous character. The supporting cast includes J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Gillian Jacobs, Walton Goggins, Ross Marquand, and Grey Griffin, among others.
