Star Trek: Strange New Worlds premiered on Paramount+ in May 2022. Set approximately a decade before Star Trek: The Original Series, the second season of Strange New Worlds arrived in 2023, while Season 3 is set to premiere next month.

Per Variety, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has been renewed for a fifth and final season, which will only consist of six episodes. The other seasons have ten episodes each.
Executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Henry Alonso Myers, and Alex Kurtzman said in a statement that they were “deeply grateful to Paramount+ for the chance to complete our five-season mission, just as we envisioned it, alongside our extraordinary cast and crew.

The cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds includes Anson Mount as Christopher Pike, Ethan Peck as Spock, Jess Bush as Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’An Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Erica Ortegas, Babs Olusanmokun as Joseph M’Benga, Bruce Horak as Hemmer, Rebecca Romijn as Una Chin-Riley/Number One, and Martin Quinn as Montgomery Scott.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 will premiere on Paramount+ on July 17, 2025. Season 4 is currently in production and “likely won’t premiere until mid-to-late 2026,” according to Variety, while the release date for Season 5 is unknown at this time. The show is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment.
