Lecce were active at both ends of the market, confirming the departure of Hamza Rafia to Esperance for an undisclosed fee, before announcing the arrival of Omri Gandelman from Gent. The Israeli midfielder joins the Salentini on a permanent deal worth €4.5m, adding physicality and versatility to Marco Giampaolo’s midfield options.

Fiorentina have also moved to reinforce their squad, securing Marco Brescianini from Atalanta on loan. The 25-year-old was seeking more regular playing time after slipping down the pecking order in Bergamo, and the Viola will now assess his long-term future over the second half of the season.

Meanwhile, Lazio pulled off one of the standout moves of the day by completing the signing of Kenneth Taylor from Ajax. The Netherlands international arrives for a fee believed to be around €15m and is expected to play a central role in Maurizio Sarri’s midfield following Matteo Guendouzi’s exit.

Elsewhere, Verona sent Yellu Santiago to Arouca on loan, Parma allowed Hernani to join Monza, and Isaac completed a move from Atletico Mineiro to Verona.
