New Orleans Saints star Michael Thomas was reportedly arrested on Friday night after allegedly slapping a cell phone out of someone’s hand, with the wide receiver also accused of ‘throwing a brick’ at a car.
Thomas was seen being taken away by police in Kenner, Louisiana, according to WDSU.
The network say a man told them that Thomas threw a brick at his truck and pushed him, however it’s claimed the main factor that led to Thomas’ arrest was him knocking a phone out someone’s hand.
A Saints spokesman told Saints News Network on Friday night: “We aware of the incident and are gathering information.”
It comes just a couple of weeks after his fellow Saints WR Chris Olave was arrested on suspicion of reckless operation of a motor vehicle in Kenner.
In a statement, police in Kenner – located about 15 miles west of New Orleans – allege that Olave was driving 35 mph above the posted 35 mph speed limit (70mph).
