The Leisure & Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today that it will hold a lucky draw to promote SmartPLAY, its new intelligent sports and recreation services booking and information system due to be officially launched at 7am on November 9.
People who have successfully registered as SmartPLAY users and completed authentication by November 5 are automatically entitled to enter the lucky draw for the chance to win prizes.
Three grand prize winners will be drawn from the database of eligible SmartPLAY users and presented with a new-model smartphone – an Apple iPhone 15 Pro, a Samsung Z Flip 5, or a Huawei P60 Pro. Thirty consolation prizes, including smart health devices such as sports massage guns and smart body scales, will also be offered.
Prize winners will be picked randomly by computer on November 13 and the list of winners will be published on the SmartPLAY website, the LCSD’s social media pages, as well as in Sing Tao Daily and The Standard, on November 20. The winners will be individually informed.
Separately, the LCSD reminds the public that from November 9, all service users, including existing Leisure Link patrons, must register with SmartPLAY and complete an identity authentication before using the new system to enrol in programmes and book leisure facilities.
The LCSD has set up 375 new Smart Self-service Stations, at around 240 leisure venues, where the public can submit registration details and complete identity authentication and account activation. Registration can also be done on the My SmartPLAY mobile app.
The department stressed that if users complete their SmartPLAY registration through iAM Smart, their accounts will be activated instantly.
