Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the La Liga front, at El Sadar.
Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops headed into the matchup sitting pretty atop the table, with sights on opening a five-point advantage over arch rivals Barcelona in 2nd.

Following a VAR check, Osasuna were awarded a penalty, which was confidently dispatched by veteran frontman Ante Budimir.

And in the aftermath of as much, chatter surrounding Thibaut Courtois’ efforts when faced from 12 yards quickly came to the fore once more.
Belgian international Courtois long been considered one of world football’s standout goalkeepers, regarded by many as the very best.

’37 penalties against Courtois in La Liga:
Courtois ranks 66th in the ranking of goalkeepers with the best % of penalties saved in La Liga (minimum of 20 penalties faced). If Courtois has a weak point, it’s clearly this one.’
