Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming Reacher spin-off Neagley has officially received a major update regarding its current production status. The series will be led by Danish actress Maria Sten, who will be reprising her role as private investigator Frances Neagley.
“When Frances Neagley learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice,” reads the synopsis. “Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”

Posted on Instagram, Sten has shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Neagley, confirming that production on the Reacher spin-off has officially been completed. The photo shows Sten with a bloodied and bruised face, teasing her character’s intense action sequences in the series.
The Reacher spin-off is created and executive produced by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novel series. The cast includes Greyston Holt (The Night Agent), Jasper Jones (King Ivory), Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Matthew Del Negro (Mayor of Kingstown), and Damon Herriman (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), with Alan Ritchson expected to appear as Jack Reacher.
Frances Neagley was first introduced as one of Jack Reacher’s former comrades in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. In the spin-off, she’ll be working as a private investigator in Chicago. Executive producers are Child, Don Granger, Lisa Kussner, David Ellison, Goldberg, and Matt Thunell. It is a production by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios.
