Snow White star, Rachel Zegler, has snagged an invitation to Met Gala 2025, as per a new online report. The 23-year-old actress has been embroiled in controversy leading up to and following the release of the 2025 film, on account of her controversial statements and political opinions. The controversy first sparked when Rachel Zegler made comments heavily criticizing the 1939 Snow White story.

Did Rachel Zegler get an invitation to the Met Gala in 2025?
Rachel Zegler has reportedly received an invitation to attend the Met Gala in 2025.
However, according to Page Six, the Snow White actress will not be attending the haute couture fundraising event, as she will be busy with rehearsals for her West End debut Evita in London in May. Zegler will portray political leader Eva Peron in the play.
Zegler has previously attended Met Gala events in 2021 and 2024. In the first event, she donned a Dior Haute Couture dress, while in the second she wore a Michael Kors gown.
Rachel Zegler is not the only major name skipping this year’s Met Gala. Blake Lively, who is currently involved in a legal feud with It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, will also reportedly be a no-show at the event, alongside husband and fellow actor, Ryan Reynolds. However, according to TMZ, this legal drama is not the reason they are skipping the event.
The guest list for Met Gala 2025 is packed with several notable names like Doechii, Lizzo, Mary J. Blige, and Shakira, as well as models Amelia Gray and Ashley Graham. The event will be co-chaired by The Madness star Colman Domingo, Formula One’s Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky, and singer-songwriter and fashion designer Pharrell Williams.
