Paris Saint-Germain’s Fabian Ruiz (29) and Senny Mayulu (19) are unlikely to be available for the Champions League play-off first leg against AS Monaco, according to Le Parisien.

Ruiz, who has been out since 20th January with a left knee injury sustained against Sporting Portugal, is not expected to be fit to feature on Tuesday, despite having resumed individual training. Mayulu, who picked up a knock in last week’s Classique against Olympique de Marseille, is also expected to be sidelined.

However, this should not be the case for João Neves (21) and Ousmane Dembélé (28), who were both hurt during PSG’s 3-1 loss to Stade Rennais on Friday. These are good news for Luis Enrique, whose options in midfield are limited while several crucial matches loom for the reigning European champions.

Visiting the Louis II stadium on Tuesday, the Parisians will try to gain the upper hand over the Principality club, one week before hosting them at the Parc des Princes for the return leg.
