Following the leaked camera details for the upcoming Poco F8 Ultra and Redmi K90 Pro, the same source from China has also revealed what we should expect, camera-wise, from both the OnePlus 15 and the Realme GT 8 Pro. Both of these are expected to launch in China this month.
OnePlus 15
The OnePlus 15 is allegedly going to have a 1/1.5″ type sensor for its main camera, specifically the Sony Lytia LYT-700. Its periscope telephoto camera will be using the 1/2.76″ type Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor. The OnePlus 15 may sport the 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor for its ultrawide camera.
Interestingly, if this pans out, the OnePlus 15 would have a slightly smaller main camera sensor than its predecessor‘s 1/1.43″ type, and a much smaller periscope telephoto camera sensor than the OnePlus 13’s, which measures 1/1.95″. These won’t be the only downgrades either, with the OnePlus 15 rumored to sport “1.5K” resolution, lower than its predecessor’s QHD+.
Moving on to the Realme GT 8 Pro, this is said to sport the same main camera as the OnePlus 15, with the same 1/1.5″ type Sony Lytia LYT-700 sensor. Its periscope telephoto camera will have 200 MP resolution and the 1/1.56″ type Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor.
Realme GT 8 Pro
The Realme GT 8 Pro would thus have a much improved zoom camera compared to the GT 7 Pro, and arguably a better one than the OnePlus 15 as well, which is a weird thing to see considering the fact that Realme’s flagships haven’t really been all that camera-focused up until now.
