James Gunn and Nicholas Hoult have revealed that Superman will feature a unique character called Mr. Handsome.
Superman flies into theaters in one month from Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios. Written and directed by Gunn, the film stars David Corenswet as the titular superhero, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Hoult as Lex Luthor.

Speaking with Perri Nemiroff for Fandango, Gunn and Hoult shared some details about a new DCU character named Mr. Handsome.
“I remember your son’s favorite character was Mr. Handsome,” Gunn said to Hoult.
“Me, then Mr. Handsome,” Hoult replied. “No, it was Mr. Handsome. He kept on talking about Mr. Handsome the whole time. He’d be lying in bed and then he’d be like, ‘Dad, Mr. Handsome.’”
Gunn further explained, “Mr Handsome is Lex’s creature that he created in a petri dish that drives around on this flying platform that is the ugliest, grossest creature in the world.”
