CIRP: iOS market share in the US increases to 39%

Based on the latest Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) report, iOS had a 39% share of all US smartphone customers for the past year. The latest figure represents a slight increase from the 2022 values when iOS accounted for 37% of all US smartphone users and a sizeable drop compared to 2021 (44%) and 2020 (46%).

iOS share of US mobile phone customers

Data for this survey was sourced from CIRP’s quarterly survey of US mobile phone customers with the last quarter ending in September. The new data shows a clear sign that Android is still the preferred mobile OS for US smartphone users with iOS coming in second. CIRP’s data analysis shows that iOS had its highest share in the smartphone market at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic with subsequent years showing a slight drop off in user base.

TVB News

Source link
