Data for this survey was sourced from CIRP’s quarterly survey of US mobile phone customers with the last quarter ending in September. The new data shows a clear sign that Android is still the preferred mobile OS for US smartphone users with iOS coming in second. CIRP’s data analysis shows that iOS had its highest share in the smartphone market at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic with subsequent years showing a slight drop off in user base.
