A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has made his way onto the transfer radar of Premier League outfit Chelsea.

Frontman Ferran is for his part in the midst of a fine individual campaign to date, to the tune of 15 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions.

This production comes despite the Spanish international rotating starting centre-forward duties with Robert Lewandowski.

And understood to have had their attentions piqued by Ferran’s exploits over recent months are those in the boardroom at the aforementioned Chelsea.

As per a report from Fichajes, in fact, amid an ongoing search for versatile reinforcements in the final third:

‘The English club is preparing a financial offer of up to €80 million to convince the Catalan board to part ways with their player.’
