Source link

Tesla was a trailblazer in the EV market, with Rivian now trying to follow the same path. Rivian (RIVN 4.56%) is kind of like Tesla‘s (TSLA 2.23%) runner-up. If you’re looking to invest in the electric vehicle (EV) sector, you could buy either one. However, there are some interesting facts you’ll want to consider before

When new automotive segments hit the market, they follow a fairly predictable curve. First, early adopters flock to the first few examples of a particular concept. Then, if it proves profitable, and enough critical mass accumulates, the industry brings its massive design and engineering dollars into play and scoops up the second wave of buyers

Credit: Wikimedia Commons. Ever since mobile phones came along, even before they were “smartphones”, people worried that the signal was causing health problems. Studies generally showed them to be perfectly safe, but a bombshell report released in 2018 by the U.S. National Toxicology Program sparked new concerns. Do phones actually raise a risk? A new

Washington – The Computer & Communications Industry Association has sued the state of Utah in federal court to block SB142, the App Store Accountability Act, as a violation of the First Amendment. This law, much like the Texas law that was recently enjoined in CCIA v. Paxton, imposes a sweeping age-verification, parental consent, and de facto

Apps have supplanted games for total in-app consumer spend annually for the first time, with apps generating $84.1 billion and games $82.7 billion. The growth of in-app subscriptions across many categories over the past three years has come up against the stalling of game revenues during that same time period. Apps such as TikTok, Google

China’s electric vehicle market showed clear signs of strain at the start of the year, with January sales highlighting weaker domestic demand and intensifying competition. BYD, the country’s largest electric carmaker, recorded its lowest monthly electric passenger car sales in nearly two years, adding to concerns about how quickly China’s EV growth is slowing. Sales

Even as China’s BYD moved ahead of Elon Musk’s Tesla in the world’s EV race in 2025, a less known local rival has been in the rear-view mirror. Leapmotor has produced no-frills, low-cost EVs that have proved a hit with many Chinese consumers. Leveraging its experience from manufacturing security cameras and walkie-talkies, the carmaker has

The latest mobile phone isn’t always the greatest. Despite a series of newer, updated Pixel 10 models, we still think the previous generation’s Pixel 9a is more than enough phone for most people. Not only does it have great battery life and feature support, but it often goes on sale for well under $500. In

In the old days, we’d post our photos and videos on social media for the world to see. Right now, it’s far more common to send these pictures and clips to friends and family through private chat groups—but what you might not have realized is that they get pretty heavily compressed along the way. There

Despite its supremely sleek design, the iPhone Air actually has a pretty respectable battery life, lasting for somewhere in the region of 27 hours if you’re continuously streaming video. But you’re still going to be wary of it dying on you if you’re on a trip or just having a particularly screen-heavy day. That’s where
