iAM Smart counter set up in Qianhai

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) today announced the setting up of a second iAM Smart registration service counter on the Mainland to enable Hong Kong citizens working and living on the Mainland to register for or upgrade to iAM Smart+.

The new counter is located at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen.

Hong Kong identity card holders can visit the iAM Smart registration service counter on the ground floor of the Qianhai e-Station Government Service Center at No.19, Qianwan 1st Road, Nanshan District to register for or upgrade to iAM Smart+.

The service counter is open from Monday to Friday, 9am to noon and 2pm to 6pm, except on public holidays.

The other iAM Smart+ registration service point in the Mainland is located in Guangzhou. The OGCIO said it will set up further iAM Smart self-registration kiosks at more locations in the Greater Bay Area, bringing convenience to Hong Kong people living in the Mainland.

Since its launch in late 2020, iAM Smart has surpassed 2.3 million registrations. Users can access various online services through a single digital authentication via their personal mobile phones.
